Welcome to "An American Journey".  The nine MS-Word files below comprise a 145 page "coffee table" book.  The book was extracted from over 1000 photographs and twenty or so trip logs generated during a 6500 mile / five-week journey from South Carolina to the Mendocino coast of California and back, during May and June of 2010. 

Along our way, we visited several US National Parks, as well as other scenic places.  But we also visited aspects and dimensions of our own country that we had not fully realized existed. The journey was an education in more ways than one. I hope you will enjoy it.
